Formed in 2000, one of contemporary jazz’s most distinctive bands.
With a repertoire spanning Ornette Coleman, Black Sabbath, Aphex Twin and Nirvana, The Bad Plus have built fearless bridges between jazz, rock and pop. Blurring genres along the way, they have quietly reshaped the boundaries of modern jazz. Their landmark album These Are Vistas is now regarded as a modern jazz classic and was selected by NPR’s ‘All Songs Considered’ as one of the 50 most important recordings of the 2000s. Having announced that 2026 will be their final year, The Bad Plus take to the road one last time on their Farewell Tour. Having given the opening concert when Salon opened in 2010, the band now returns to kick off the new season at Fiba Salon İKSV.
A farewell night where jazz meets rock and the experimental comes naturally.
