Istanbul Jazz Festival and Fiba Salon İKSV join forces for a programme running from October to December, keeping the jazz club tradition alive. Hosted by Ferit Odman, these guest artist nights see him share the stage with his own ensemble, through jam sessions with visiting artists and young musicians. Each night features a different line-up and takes the music in a new direction.

Young jazz musicians.

On this Jazz Club night, music students and young jazz musicians join the Ferit Odman Quartet on stage to improvise together. Musicians who bring their instruments can add their names to the list at the start of the night and share the stage with the quartet. At Salon, the jam session tradition of passing jazz down from one generation to the next lives on.
